Youth worker position

Full Time Youth Worker with City Hope Church and Salmon Youth Centre

Unrivalled opportunity to make an impact

City Hope Church and Salmon Youth Centre are combining together to give a fantastic opportunity for a youth worker to make a lasting impact in the lives of young people in South East London. Candidates must have an ongoing Christian commitment in line with the mission, vision and ethos of both organisations.

We are looking for a proactive individual who can make a two-year commitment to this role. You may have finished university and want to invest some time in Christian service before launching a career elsewhere or you may want to build a career in youth or church work.

The opportunities will be exciting and demanding and include organising programmes, running clubs, taking assemblies, providing pastoral care and most importantly building great relationships with young people and volunteer workers.

The full time role is split between City Hope Church (3 days) and the Salmon Youth Centre (2 days). Both organisations have a good long term relationship with each other and are working together to recruit the right candidate. The working week will include some evenings and Sunday mornings.

Accommodation (including bills, food and internet) in the Salmon Centre is part of the package. On top of this the salary will be around £10,000 per annum.

For more information and how to apply please contact Chris Nicholson at City Hope Church ( The closing date for applications is Tuesday 21st March.
