Prayer in unity with local churches

Kingdom Come (Wednesday 1st July, 12-1pm & 8-9.30pm)

Praying for transformation with other churches from Christians for Transformation (C4T) .

For many years City Hope has been part of a local churches together group called C4T. Leaders from the churches in C4T meet a couple of times a month to pray and eat together. At our next Kingdom Come prayer meeting, on Wednesday 1st July at the 8pm, we will be joined by others from C4T to pray together for the wider community Jesus has called us to be salt and light in.

As well as City Hope we hope to have church representation from St James’s, St Anne’s, Haddon Hall Baptist, Canada Water Church, Tower Christian Fellowship, Monnow Road Baptist and St Mary’s. We should have a great time together!

It would be wonderful to see many from City Hope come to this prayer meeting. Praying together with brothers and sisters from other local churches is a great act of unity in spirit and mission. This is something close to God’s heart - Jesus prayed for unity for us in John 17.

The meeting is taking place at our building on Drummond Road. Doors will open at 7.30pm for refreshments. At 8.00pm we will start with a time of worship before moving into a time of prayer. The focus will be on praying for aspects of the wider community we live in and want to see God bless. Jesus taught us to pray ‘your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven’. We want to pray this over South London.

Please come and join us.
