Who's Who - Paul & Denise Brown

Paul was born in Bexley and Denise in Greenwich. Both became Christians in 1984.
After helping to establish two church plants in North West Kent, God challenged them about the needs of the inner cities. While praying about this they knew God was calling them to Central London.

They moved to Bermondsey in 1994 when Paul joined the staff of City Hope. Three years later he was appointed as an elder. His main responsibilities are evangelism and children's work. He leads the church Alpha course and has developed a successful outreach to local children and their families through Kids Club.

Paul loves to preach the gospel and see people saved. He also enjoys a good meal with a glass of wine, and to see Manchester United win!

Denise has been a full time homemaker and mother for over twenty years but she now works as a classroom assistant in a local school as well. Denise loves spending time with friends and shopping in the West End!

Paul and Denise enjoy the challenge and excitement of living in the centre of such a great city. They have known God's provision and protection many times as they face the challenges of bringing up their family of five children in London.
